IMESD/OTREN Summer Series 2023 has ended

Hosted by Oregon Trail Regional Educator Network and InterMountain Education Service District - open to all OTREN districts unless otherwise specified! Make sure to check the location of the offering-Pendleton IMESD, La Grande IMESD, or another location in the region.

OTREN Districts include: Baker, Pine Eagle, Burnt River, Athena-Weston, Echo, Helix, Hermiston, Milton-Freewater, Pendleton, Pilot Rock, Stanfield, Ukiah, Umatilla, Ione, Morrow County, Cove, Elgin, Imbler, La Grande, North Powder, and Union

There are a few sessions listed as IMESD Component Only- that excludes Baker, Hermiston, Pine Eagle, & beginning in August Cove. 

Please build your individual schedule by selecting the sessions you are planning to attend. This will allow for us to plan appropriate space needs. Some sessions may be cancelled if the numbers are too small.

If you would like to earn graduate credit for attended classes, please download the Ed510 EOU Registration Packet.  For undergraduate credit (those without a college degree), please download Ed410 Registration Packet. Participants can register for this class starting May 11th and packets are due July 10th. You can earn up to 6 credits- FYI: 10 hours equal 1 credit!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both California and Oregon. I am also a credentialed School Counselor (PPS) for grades K-12. Currently I work as a Marriage & Family Therapist for East Cascades Counseling Services and as a School Counselor for Bend Senior High School. I have served previously as the School Response Program Coordinator for the High Desert ESD. Through these opportunities, I have been able to develop a passion for helping schools, communities, and programs develop and implement crisis response plans and best practice protocols regarding restabiliztion after a loss/trauma and grief. I am certified to train in a variety of evidenced based and best practice trainings which include: QPR, ASIST, Youth SAVE, and CONNECT Postvention. My previous experience includes work practice in a variety of community mental health agencies and school districts in both California and Oregon. Organizational agencies have varied from intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment, residential treatment facilities, juvenile halls, and Department of Child and Family Services/Court. I am certified to provide youth and families with both traditional and evidence-based therapeutic modalities including: Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (C-DBT), Family Trauma Specialist (C-FTS) Seeking Safety, Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies (PATHS), and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and their families and have over 13 years of experience. I truly believe that HOPE is… the ONLY thing STRONGER than fear.
