OTREN Districts include: Baker, Pine Eagle, Burnt River, Athena-Weston, Echo, Helix, Hermiston, Milton-Freewater, Pendleton, Pilot Rock, Stanfield, Ukiah, Umatilla, Ione, Morrow County, Cove, Elgin, Imbler, La Grande, North Powder, and Union
There are a few sessions listed as IMESD Component Only- that excludes Baker, Hermiston, Pine Eagle, & beginning in August Cove.
Please build your individual schedule by selecting the sessions you are planning to attend. This will allow for us to plan appropriate space needs. Some sessions may be cancelled if the numbers are too small.
If you would like to earn graduate credit for attended classes, please download the Ed510 EOU Registration Packet. For undergraduate credit (those without a college degree), please download Ed410 Registration Packet. Participants can register for this class starting May 11th and packets are due July 10th. You can earn up to 6 credits- FYI: 10 hours equal 1 credit!
This will be a fast paced- learning and discussion packed day covering topics such as: Confidentiality, Behavior as Communication, Praise, Supervision, Opportunities to Respond, Helping Students Regulate, Wait Time/Instructional Strategies, Small Group Instruction, and Building Trust with Students.
Content covered is in partnership with ORSN & the University of Oregon.
A certificate of completion will be granted upon completion of this course. This is a session for Substitute Teachers, Paraprofessionals, and anyone wanting to refresh on the content.
